[resend] Definition of Interface Message Reference

Jonathan Marsh-2

Thanks for your comment.  The WS Description Working Group tracked this issue as a CR089 [1].

The Working Group agreed this was confusing and rewrote the section, as you can see in the latest editor’s draft [2].

Unless you let us know otherwise by mid-January, we will assume you agree with the resolution of this issue.

Subject: Definition of Interface Message Reference

Hi Gurus,

I had a clarification.
Part 1 defines Interface message reference as follows.
"An Interface Message Reference component associates a defined element with a message exchanged in an operation. By default, the element is defined in the XML Infoset [XML Information Set]."

But it may not always associate a defined element with the message rite ? - in case the message content model is #none, the message is not associated with any element.

Also, in the second sentence above, what does it mean to say "by default, the element is defined in the XML infoset" ? Where is the defaulting defined ?

Do let me know.

rgds,
Ram
