WICD core "param render static" testcase bug

Erik Dahlström
Hello cdf,

I belive there's a bug in the testsuite, in the WICD Core 1.0 testcase #7 #9, "param render static" [1].

According to 3.2.1.1 [2] scripted animations should still run if <param name="render" value="static"> is specified. The referenced svg image has both declarative and scripted animations (rotation is declarative, colorfade of arrow is scripted). The test pass criteria says:
[[
  This test has passed, if the left SVG animates, while the animations of the right SVG are stoped.
]]

It should say that the right SVG must not rotate, but that it must fade the color from black to white continously.

Cheers
/Erik

Re: WICD core "param render static" testcase bug

Daniel Herzog
Hey Erik,

thanks a lot, together with Timur and Lars we have fixed this now. We
also modified the samples a bit to make the difference between
declarative and scripted animation clearer and easier to describe.

Best regards,
Daniel
