The W3C DOM Level 3 Event spec identifies both event interfaces and types for all supported events ( see
http://www.w3.org/TR/DOM-Level-3-Events/#event-types-list ). The
EMMA spec identifies a
single EMMA event type that can refer to the data structures described in the EMMA spec. The initEMMAEvent interface lists a DOMString typeArg as the first argument. I do not see anywhere a list of valid type values similar to those listed in the DOM L3
It seems, based on how the DOM L3 spec is organized, that these type values should also have canBubble and canCancel values specified.
Are there standardized types? Or is this left to users to make up?
